LIP Blushing: Day by Day
Before
Before any lip blushing procedure. You will choose your colour and prepare for treatment.
Immediately After
Lips will be swollen and sensitive. Colour will appear bright. Lips will produce lymphatic fluid that needs to be wiped down with a sterile wipe.
Day 2
Your lips will also feel swollen and tender. Your colour will begin to darken temporarily throughout the day as the pigment oxidizes.
Day 3
On days 3-7, lips will become dry and start to flake (like a traditional tattoo). Keeping them moisturized is important.
Day 4
Scabs become thicker and fuller, they start to lift and the new lighter colour starts to revel. Lips will feel dry.
DAY 7
On days 7-28, the skin flakes away and your new lip colour is releaved and begins to settle in. Often healed lips appear about 40-50 % lighter and more natural than you see on days one and two.
